Governing Board - Meeting Agenda

The next meeting of the COIRS Governing Board is scheduled for Tuesday July 30th at 1pm. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in the second floor conference room at Worthington City Hall, 6665 North High Street in Worthington. CLICK HERE to view the meeting agenda.

Network Maintenance Planned

All COIRS System Users: 

XO Communications has notified us they will be doing upgrades to their fiber network switches that support our system TONIGHT, Wednesday 07/17 starting at 23:00 and lasting approximately 1 hours. There may be periodic connectivity interruptions during time frame that will cause the consoles to lose connection and the system to go into site trunking. Dispatchers will need to be ready to use back up radios/walkies during this outage. Field units may receive the "SITE TRUNKING" notice on their radios, but can continue to operate on their normal talk-groups.

Network Maintenance Planned

OarNET has notified us they will be doing power upgrades to the network that supports our system on Tuesday 07/02 starting at 18:00. This work will last approximately 5 hours. There WILL be connectivity interruptions during this time frame that will cause the consoles to lose connection and the system to go into site trunking. Dispatchers will need to be ready to use back up radios/walkies during this outage. Field units may receive the "SITE TRUNKING" notice on their radios, but can continue to operate on their normal talk-groups. These interruptions may last more that 15 mins in duration.

The Governing Board of the Central Ohio Interoperable Communications System (COIRS) will hold a special meeting on Friday March 1st starting at 9am at the Worthington Police Department, 6665 Worthington-Galena Road. A copy of the meeting agenda is available HERE.
