The FAA has issued a favorable determination for the Huntley Bowl tower site. Originally requested as a 250' AGL tower, the FAA approved it not to exceed 247' AGL which is excellent news for the project team!

FAA Approves Huntley Bowl Tower
The FAA has issued a favorable determination for the Huntley Bowl tower site. Originally requested as a 250' AGL tower, the FAA approved it not to exceed 247' AGL which is excellent news for the project team!

FAA Application Submitted
Today, FAA Form 7460-1 was submitted to the Great Lakes office of the FAA requesting permission to construct the Huntley Road tower. A cover letter, 7.5 minute topo maps, the application and a letter certifying the location coordinates we all part of the submission. A response is expected in approximately 30 days.
03/13/09: FAA Study number 2009-AGL-1125-OE has been assigned and the case is under review
